Spelling

Last week I was learning the g sound. I found that it was hard to do the writing because it was hard to remember the word that I was writing. I got the information off my group slide show. I enjoyed writing the words down. Hope you enjoy my slide show.

Reflection

We have been learning to write a Reflection on our report writing. How successfully have we been? How do we know?

I enjoyed writing a report  because I can learn about different things like animals. We can find information about the topic. I need to do a plan then I write 3 to 5 sentences in my own words. I learned to write in paragraphs.
I think it is easier to work in a group because we help each other but we also listen to our buddies ideas and we research together.We also need to sit by ourselves and not another group.   

The Moa

For writing we have been writing in a group of 3. We were helping each other and the teacher did not help us. We chose an animal to write about and we also wrote notes together .This is mine, Jake's and Solly's slide show. The Tuatara

Dancemat

I have been learing to touch type with Dancemat. We do it after lunch. I am going to show you mine. This team I have been learing to keep my fingers on the home row and keep my eyes on the words.  Here are some of the words I am working on.

Typing Tutor

In class every day after lunch we do Typing Tutor with Jo our teacher aid after buddy reading. In my typing I want to get better at typing faster and keeping my eyes on the screen.Most of room 5 is on Typing Tutor and most of the year 4s are on Dance Mat. I hope you enjoy my Typing Tutor. Lexia

I am learning to mix up words and make a sentence, and  this is my Lexia. We have been doing this through the year. My goal is  to get on level 11 at the end of this term.
